In good ol’ New Years resolution fashion, I’ve been looking for healthier recipes to replace some of our “not so healthy” ones.
My kids love chocolate pudding and I rarely buy it because I haven’t found one they like that isn’t loaded with sugar or other ingredients pudding shouldn’t have in it. Instead of buying chocolate pudding, I’ve been buying the Chobani Greek Yogurt Chocolate Dust kid’s packs, but I only can find them at Target.
I’ve been thinking about different ways to make chocolate pudding from scratch and I think this is by far the healthiest this chocolate pudding will ever get!
I was hesitant to try it myself, but it’s pretty tasty! The girl’s don’t devour it, but they eat a few spoonfuls of it at a time.
Sophia asked why it tasted different and I told her it was just a different kind, but it’s so much better for you and makes you strong! 🙂 She’s really into labeling foods healthy vs junkfood lately and constantly asks “Is this healthy or junkfood?”
This is such a great little treat to keep in the fridge and take a spoonful every time you have a sugar/chocolate craving!
XOXO
A few years ago, my avocado tree went crazy and I got a ton of fruit! I tried making chocolate pudding, but only liked it if peanut butter was added. For some reason I needed that to counteract the avocado flavor.
I like the “different kind” label. Sounds unusual but super creamy, I bet
I adore avocado pudding, but that could be simply because I adore avocados. To me pudding should be thick and creamy, and no other ingredients does that as well as an avocado!!
