These past couple days I have been dragging! I can’t seem to find any bursts of energy and I’ll just sit here and blame it on the baby growing inside me.
Through my burning eyes, I saw an article popped up on my Facebook feed.
Their first two reasons to eat bananas were for instant energy and to fight muscle cramps. EXACTLY what I’m currently battling!
We go through a lot of bananas around here already, but upping my banana intake was on my mind in a “Let’s see if this works…” type of way. There is nothing bad about adding an extra banana to my day, especially in the form of tasty muffins. This is the way a pregnant woman thinks. Eat more bananas?! You mean bake banana bread & banana muffins…right?!
Instead of eating the usual toast with my eggs in the mornings, I’m switching it up this week to these deliciously filling Banana Nut Oatmeal Muffins! I added the oatmeal to give them a more dominant feeling in my belly to get me through to lunch time! So far, they are doing their job!!
Side note: My two-year-old ate two of these on Monday and the muffin stash quickly disappeared in 2 days. Kid-approved!
