This week has been an absolute blast with so many celebrations going on (way too many cakes), and they don’t stop today! There’s always something coming up on the calendar that causes for celebration, right?!

FRIDAY FAVES

My sister has been hanging with us for the past month; cooking us delicious vegans meals almost every night. To say we’ve been spoiled is an understatement. She left yesterday to start a new adventure in North Carolina! 🙁
Her food presentation has inspired me and her cooking has opened my eyes to the wonderful creative world of vegan cooking. It was truly a pleasure getting to watch her in the kitchen creating unique, heavenly dinners and desserts! You can follow her beautiful cooking adventures on her Instagram HERE . She will probably absolutely hate all these pictures, but here’s a little glimpse into what we’ve been enjoying while she was visiting. All these incredible creations are 100% organic, non-gmo, vegan, etc, etc. 🙂 She doesn’t mess around!

New Hair Don’t Care
Yesterday I got some hair chopped off and dyed a little darker. I’ve been going back and forth with just chopping it all off, but I think this is as short as it will get. (Sunglasses by QUAY )

Damn Daniel – If you’ve been seeing “Damn Daniel” memes infecting the internet this week, this video is what it’s all about. I’ve been infected, saying “Damn Daniel” whenever I get the chance. Let me know when it starts to get annoying. 🙂

Kelly Clarkson makes everyone cry

We have a SPRINKLES coming to Tampa!  Everyone is going cray over this, but I have a confession: I used their Cupcake ATM in California a couple years ago and I wasn’t impressed. :-/ Hopefully they redeem themselves when they open here!

Jet City Espresso
This is the cutest little coffee shop in the heart of South Tampa. I enjoyed their signature drink Cafe Borgia and it was a great change from my daily latte.

My big brother! This post started off with my sister, and now I get to add my brother. His birthday is also this week and we often celebrate our birthdays together. So…Happy Birthday to the coolest big brother, from the coolest little sister! 🙂 Did I mention he’s a badass soccer player?! No? Well, now you know!

Last but CERTAINLY not least, my wonderful, amazing, delicious husband popped the question on our 10 year “engagement anniversary”.
Ten years ago (when I was 18 years old) Angelo asked me to marry him on my birthday. We were young and broke, but the ring was just my size! Unfortunately, I lost my wedding ring at the beach last year. After wearing numerous fake rings these past months, and asking him multiple times for a new ring (with him telling me that he’s building me a house, so a ring was not coming anytime soon), he presented a new gorgeous ring to me the same way he presented the first one. He got on one knee and asked me to marry him…again. It was the best surprise I’ve ever had. He’s my forever.
