Summer Yums Series continues today and it couldn’t be more perfect.
Today is World Oceans Day! A day to celebrate and learn about our beautiful oceans. This year’s theme is “Healthy Oceans, Healthy Planet”.
My kids love to learn about the ocean and all the magical creatures that call it home. While making this DIY foodie craft with the girls we talked about our favorite thing about the oceans. Sophia’s favorite is “all the fishies and dolphins!” while Penelope’s favorite is “the octopus”. We also talked about how there shouldn’t be plastic or any trash in the ocean and the only thing in the oceans should be the animals that live there!
With the colors, this would make an ideal Fourth of July treat!
